Daiso Japan Expands Its Regional Footprint With Its 52nd GCC Store In Ajman (4 January 2018)

Daiso Japan, a renowned retail concept store, strengthens its foothold in Ajman with the launch of its second store in the Emirate, taking the total count to 52 stores in GCC.

Daiso Japan has gained immense popularity among the local consumers and is optimistic about retaining its position as the most preferred retail store for all household and gifting requirements.

Having cultivated a strong affinity among consumers in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and KSA, Daiso Japan creates a one-stop destination for the Ajman shoppers with its second store at City Centre Ajman. Bringing latest trends and innovative products, Daiso Japan promises to provide consumers a fun walk down the aisle where they will find over 70,000 products to choose from. 

Marking a new chapter in the region, the Daiso Japan store is spread over 4,000 sq.ft of retail space in City Center, located in the heart of Ajman.

The brand is aggressively growing in the region, with no signs of slowing down. Daiso Japan also opened a new store located in Sahara Centre’s new extension and boasts of 612 square meters. The brand aims to continue its fast-paced expansion in 2018.

Whilst worldwide the brand has more than 4,000 stores, there are 52 stores currently in the GCC region with 34 stores in the United Arab Emirates, and the remaining 18 located across Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Daiso Japan operates in Middle East under the joint franchise ownership of Lals Group and Damas Group. The unique concept has been extremely well received by over a billion customers worldwide.
