Ramada Ajman Organises Cleanup Of Public Beach Area (3 April 2013)
The activity was part of the property’s continuous commitment to Wyndham Green Program
Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, organised an environmental cleanup drive along the coastline of Ajman Public Beach.
The team, headed by the hotel’s General Manager, Iftikhar Hamdani, collected various litter and debris along the shore during the two-hour activity. Now on its second year, the cleanup was part of Wyndham Green Program, which aims to adopt the best global practices and build a culture that continuously strives to improve and sustain positive environmental results over time.
Addressing Ramada Ajman team, Hamdani said: “I would like to commend everyone for taking part in this initiative. Each of us has a role to play in the protection and conservation of the environment, thus, individual involvement can generate simple yet significant contributions in this cause. In addition, Ajman Beach is truly pristine and breathtaking and we intend to preserve it so both residents and tourists can enjoy its beauty.”
Ramada Ajman has proactively carried out various environmental initiatives in 2012 including the Zero Landfill Project, and the property intends to move forward with other innovative activities this 2013 in support of the Wyndham Green Program.
