The initiative, titled "Salsabil”, aims to collect donations from the Directorate General’s employees to purchase and distribute water dispensers , in coordination with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments to five mosques in the Emirate of Ajman, namely, the Al Hasan Al Basri Mosque in Al Safiya; Prince Qutuz Mosque in Rashidiya; Al Maghfirah Mosque in Ajman Industrial Area; and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Fatima Al Harmoudi Mosques in Al Jaraf.
Captain Sultan Al Zaabi, Head of Information and Public Relations Section noted that this initiative was proposed by employee Nawal Abdullah Hassan, to highlight the Directorate General’s humanitarian role towards society, out of its keenness to enhance community participation to achieve closer fraternal cohesion and identify the needs of the various segments of society.
