Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) held a staff meeting with Marwan Obaid Al Muhairi, CEO of Happiness and Positivity in Ajman government departments, at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, as part of their efforts to cultivate the spirit of happiness and create a happier work environment.

The initiative is in line with the department’s strategic and future objectives to keep its employees happy and positive in their work, by adopting creative ideas, and harnessing resources to keep them happy and spread positivity in the workplace.

Jawaher Al Matroshi- happiness manager at ATDD said: “By organising staff meetings with influencers in the Emirate and the UAE, we are striving to create a positive work environment in line with the national approach, and to achieve high scores on key happiness and performance indicators, with the aim of keeping employees, visitors and customers happy”.

She clarified that one of ATDD’s obligations is to spread happiness and achieve positivity in the workplace by harnessing resources, tracking performance metrics and evaluating impacts in addition to developing procedures and providing a positive workplace based on teamwork and assigning tasks. She added that such meetings will help boost transparency among employees, strengthen the sense of loyalty and satisfaction and build strong relationships among all levels of employees.
