The Department of Economic Development, DED Ajman, has transferred several core services to the Taajeel Centre, at Sheikh Zayed Road in Ajman. This comes in line with DED’s continuous efforts to achieve its strategic objectives and enhance the level of services provided to investors through partnership with various governmental and private entities.
Saud Sultan Alshimmari, Director of Commercial Registration Department reiterated DED Ajman’s commitment to achieving customers' happiness and enhancing their investment experience, which are key players in the emirate’s and the UAE’s finance and investment sector and economic growth.
Taajeel Centre is committed to complete the Department's transactions by opening new channels to meet the needs of customers, based on an institutional partnership in accordance with the distinguished government service standards and under the supervision of professional DED employees. These services include trade names registration, license renewal and printing, the issuance of preliminary approvals, the amendment of economic licenses, the issuance of trade permits and the establishment of electronic accounts for investors. The waiver and cancellation of license are kept at Al-Hamidiya Centre until they are transferred later.
The two parties previously signed a memorandum of understanding which stated that Taajeel Centre will be authorised to provide a range of DED’s services which falls in line with the Department's efforts to facilitate its services and reduce time spent for transactions for investors. The services are in line with Taajeel’s vision to be the best centre in ensuring customer’s happiness by 2019 by opening new windows that would facilitate transactions and provide many options for customers to get DED’s services to facilitate and complete their procedures.
