As part of Ajman Government’s Suite, Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) will participate in GITEX Technology Week 2018, which will take place from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Center at Sheikh Saeed S-C1 hall.

During its participation in GITEX, ATDD will showcase its innovative technology solutions and smart initiatives. For the first time in the northern emirates of the UAE, GITEX 2018 will witness the launch of the Tourist Experience program, which is the largest platform for the views, comments and suggestions of hotel guests and visitors of touristic attractions in Ajman, in a move that reflects ATDD’s ongoing efforts to make use of new technologies to meet the objectives of Ajman Vision 2021 and reach 800,000 guests in hotels and hotel apartments with a total of 2.2 million hotel nights.

ATDD will also launch a project for electronic linking with the PMS systems of hotel facilities in Ajman to automate statistical reports, and will launch five new and innovative digital services in addition to the launch of the updated version of Visit Ajman app.

HE Saleh Al Jazeeri, ATDD Director General, stressed that ATDD is keen to actively contribute to the smart transformation of Ajman, which is launched by the wise leadership. He pointed out that during its participation in GITEX 2018, ATDD will review for the visitors a package of smart services, which are innovative and creative. During GITEX 2018, and for the first time, the Tourist Experience program will be launched, which aims at getting opinions and suggestions in order to improve the services in line with the aspirations of tourists.

HE said, “GITEX Technology Week is an ideal platform to connect with participants from both government and private sectors, as well as to showcase our latest e-services and technology-related initiatives to the specialists, experts and the public who attend GITEX.”

The Tourist Experience program is one of the important initiatives adopted by ATDD in order to encourage tourists to submit their valuable suggestions and give their views that can be used to improve the quality of tourism services and marketing, in line with ATDD’s main strategic objective of sustaining the growth of the tourism sector.”

This year, GITEX Technology Week 2018, organized by Dubai World Trade Center, GITEX Technology Week 2018 highlights four sectors: smart cities, enhanced virtual reality, the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart manufacturing. It will also showcase the most advanced smart cities in the world that use next-generation infrastructure technologies.
