As part of its strategy to activate and enhance tourism in Ajman, ATDD launched the second season of the Car Boot Sale event. The event witnessed great turnout by buyers and sellers from all over the UAE during the first season. The second season started on October 18 in Ajman Corniche on Thursday and Friday evening.

The Car Boot Sale is similar to the British tradition of garage sales. Vendors offered many used products at discounted prices, including clothes, books, games, and many other goods, by showcasing them on their car boots in a fun and pleasant atmosphere. 

The event started on Thursday, 18 October, and ran until 15 May, 2019 at the Ajman Corniche parking lot, exclusively on Thursdays and Fridays, between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm.

HE Saleh Mohammed Al Jazeeri, ATDD Director General, said, “Ajman is a family-friendly emirate for all nationalities, where citizens, residents and tourists meet in an enjoyable atmosphere suitable for the entire family. The Car Boot Sale is an innovative event in Ajman, offering everyone the chance to get amazing bargains at affordable prices.”

In addition to the weekly sale and purchase deals, there were food trucks offering meals and beverages, arts and crafts, and various activities for children and the family.
