His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has issued a law regulating port and maritime activities in the Emirate of Ajman.

Law No.1 of 2019 aims at regulating the work of ports and marine activities in the Emirate's waters so as to achieve the highest standards of international security and safety, preserving the marine environment and providing the best services according to the best international practices.

The Law shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette and any provision contradicting it shall be repealed.
