Ajman Media City Free Zone To Launch Media Lab (28 March 2019)

H.H. Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Media City Free Zone, launched the first media lab of its kind to be a centre for innovation, learning and development for business owners and youth.

This move takes place within the framework of the efforts of the Ajman Media City to achieve its key objectives based on innovation to develop the business community in Ajman and the UAE in general.

Al Nuaimi highlighted the fact that the lab had been designed to be a centre for innovation, exchange of knowledge, professional development, training, partnerships, and guidance, and to provide a common working space to unite the active and dynamic community.

The lab contributes to promoting the culture of project organisation in the UAE and in supporting business owners, as it provides a number of key activities aimed at supporting cooperation with leading educational and academic institutions. It also helps to create a group of leading academic and industrial experts as consultants and provides an opportunity of learning to business owners and students, according to international standards.

He also noted that the lab would emphasise the skills needed by young business owners in the media sector to achieve success in their projects.

Al Nuaimi pointed out that this is within the framework of the strategic plan for business administration and innovation drafted by the media city management, in line with the government initiatives of Ajman Vision 2021 and the National Innovation Strategy.

He hailed the support of the UAE’s leadership that prioritises innovation in all sectors and added that a number of new electronic services will be applied to reinforce the position of the UAE in the list of the world’s commercial businesses destinations.
