As part of its strategy to boost tourism in Ajman, Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) launched the third season of the Car Boot Bazaar, which attracted considerable interest from buyers, sellers and visitors from all over the UAE during its second season. The third season starts on October 17th at Festival Land near City Centre Ajman and the Bazaar will be held every Thursday and Friday evening.

The Car Boot Bazaar is a British tradition similar to a flea market. Sellers display a variety of second-hand products, including clothes, books and toys, at discounted prices in the boots of their cars in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

The event, which will start on Thursday 17th October, will be held until May 2019 at Festival Land near City Centre Ajman. It will be held from 4pm to 11pm every Thursday and Friday.

HE Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, said, “Ajman is a family-friendly emirate for all nationalities where citizens, residents and tourists meet in an environment that appeals to the whole family. The Car Boot Bazaar is an innovative event in Ajman that allows everyone to enjoy amazing deals at affordable prices.”

His Excellency said that the Bazaar provides temporary jobs for more than 300 participants for six months. He explained that all nationalities can participate for a small fee, and that citizens who are people of determination and citizens with outstanding projects can participate for free.

In addition to the bargains at this weekly event, there will be food trucks, unique arts and crafts and a variety of activities and workshops for children and families.
