Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, is pleased to announce that VOX Cinemas at City Centre Ajman will reopen on Saturday, 30 May following the recent guidance by the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED). The announcement follows the reopening earlier this week of VOX Cinemas in Dubai and Ski Dubai in compliance with government guidelines.

VOX Cinemas at City Centre Ajmanhas undertaken extensive precautionary measures and, in addition toalready stringent sanitisation standards, has put in place enhanced safety protocols to ensure that guests and employees can enjoy a comfortable experience with added peace of mind.Fogging machines are being used to disinfect auditoriums and staff are cleaning and sanitizing surfaces after every guest interaction, paying particular attention to high touch points such as counters, POS and payment terminals.

New measures have been introduced to ensure that a safe distance is maintained throughout the guest journeysuch as installing instructional signage and deploying safety ambassadors to guide guests on best physical distancing practices. The capacity in the auditoriums has been reduced and seats in front of, behind and next to a guest’s selection will be left vacant to maintain physical distancing. The occupancy has also been decreased in other public areas such as restrooms and elevators. In adherence with government guidelines, all guests will need to wear and the operating hours have been aligned to mall opening hours.

As an added precaution, it is also now mandatory for employees to wear masks and gloves, and all team members will be temperature checked on arrival for shifts.

VOX Cinemas at City Centre Ajman has also putextensive measures in place to ensure the highest levels of food safety are maintained. Employeeswill be following strict safety protocols which include sanitizing of workstations and countertops every hour and washing their hands at least every 20 minutes and before handling food.
