Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) is providing a special treat for women on the occasion of Emirati Woman's Day on 28th August. This comes as part of the summer campaign "Ajman, Your Joyful Summer Staycation" which includes a variety of interesting activities, staycations and competitive deals to the UAE residents. 

Running on Friday, 28 August, the offer provides the opportunity to every Emirati woman who makes a breakfast reservation for two to get one additional breakfast for free. This gives all Emirati women the chance to celebrate this occasion with their female relatives or friends. Participating hotels are Ajman Saray, Ajman Hotel, Radisson Blu and Fairmont Ajman. Prior booking is required. 

Launched by Sheikha Fatima in 2015, Emirati Women's Day also coincides with the founding of the UAE's General Women's Union that was launched on August 28, 1975. In May 2020, the Mother of the Nation announced that the theme for this year would be "Preparing for the next 50 years: women are the support of the nation". This comes in line with the nationwide goals of the UAE where it was announced that 2020 would be a year of preparation for the UAE's Golden Jubilee next year.
