Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) organizedthe first Aquathlon in the Emirateat Al Zorahon Friday, 18thDecember 2020. The race was held in cooperation with the UAE TriathlonAssociation,along with the support of Al Zorah Development company, Ajman Policeand the Municipality and Planning Department- Ajman, the General Directorate of Civil Defense Ajman, and Critical Infrastructure & Coastal Protection Authority.

MattOrtnercame in the first place in the Overall Junior Aquathlon- male, Maria Catarino in Overall Junior Aquathlon- female, Omar Alhammadi in Overall Super Sprint Aquathlon-male, MerveDincsalman in Overall Super Sprint Aquathlon- female, Faris Al Zaabi
in Overall Sprint Aquathlon- male, and SarraLajnef in Overall Sprint Aquathlon.

The race wassuccessfully hosted with the support of Saudi German Hospital in Ajman and Pocari Sweat,keeping every precautionary and safety measure in place including Coronavirus testing, temperature checks for all participants, wearing masks and gloves during the race, limiting the number of participants, and ensuring social distancing.
