Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) announced the opening of BattlePark for shooting games in Marina 1, adding a new touristic and entertainment attraction to Al Zorah neighborhood.

The 5700 square meters park provides a unique entertainment experience to its visitors through exclusive battle simulating technologies with various playing modes that follow the highest safe-play protocols.

The center includes several thrilling games under one roof including the well-known shooting game, Paintball, in addition to two new games developed by BattlePark which are the speed shooting X-Battle, and the I-Battle which combines live-shooting experience with sound effects.

His Excellency Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, said: "Al Zorah provides great experiences to its visitors. ATDD is working on attracting more tourists to Al Zorah by highlighting its beautiful amenities including its natural reserve, resorts, and entertainment destinations, which recently included the new BattlePark. We also continue to organise diverse cultural, sports, and entertainment activities throughout the year to promote Ajman as one of the best tourist destinations in the region."

Ziad El Kassir, BattlePark CEO added: "BattlePark offers a unique experience for visitors of all ages, providing family members and friends the opportunity to have fun time with our shooting games. The I-Battle specifically is being well received by girls where they can show their battle skills as a team in this video game that provides a real and exciting experience to all."

Al Zorah is well known for Al Zorah Nature Reserve which is a vibrant ecosystem made up of mangroves, turquoise lagoons and sandy beaches, which is home to various species of birds. Al Zorah also includes beautiful mangrove forests which makes the area rich in fish that plays a major role in preserving the marine life in the emirate, and it extends along 12 kilometres of waterfront and 1.6 kilometres of sandy beaches. Right next to the sanctuary, golf enthusiasts can tee off some balls at the 18-hole championship course.

Al Zorah also includes several hotels, resorts, and attractions such as the UAE Pygmy Zoo, The beautiful and spacious Oberoi Beach Resort, the coveted camping site Caravana Al Zorah, Bianky Beach Camp Resort that provides various types of accommodations on Ajman beach, in addition to many restaurants, playgrounds, and boat rides.

Amongst other upcoming touristic projects, Al Zorah is also the home of Zoya Health & Wellbeing Resort that is scheduled to open in the coming months offering its visitors unique relaxation and rejuvenating experience.
