Sweet Homes to develop AED 600 million Hotel and Serviced Apartments complex within "Ajman Uptown" (29 September 2008)

 Sweet Homes, a leading UAE-based developer and multi-service provider to the real estate sector, has announced plans to develop an AED 600 million Hotel and Serviced Apartments complex within ‘Ajman Uptown’, an AED 3 billion community development, which is currently under construction in Ajman. The developer has also revealed that it is currently negotiating with leading hotel operators for the management of the 5-star hotel and luxury residential complex. The move follows the recent launch of seven commercial and residential towers, collectively valued at AED 1.3 billion, within the high profile master development.

 
Set to offer world-class rest and relaxation services to international and local tourists, the 5-star hotel (2B+G+M+4typ+HC) within ‘Ajman Uptown’ will incorporate a total of 184 rooms, including 40 luxury suites; four restaurants on the mezzanine floor; and a banquet hall, a coffee shop, a fashion boutique and a flower shop on the ground floor. Guests can also enjoy health and fitness amenities within the hotel, including a swimming pool, an aerobic health club and a gym, in addition to a children’s play area, and two salons and a restaurant, all of which are located on the rooftop. With a total built-up-area of 223,394.5 sq. ft, the hotel aims to offer quality services with the size of standard rooms ranging from 364 sq. ft. to 430 sq. ft., and the luxury suites spanning 563 sq. ft. to 729 sq. ft.

With a total built up area of 548,719 sq. ft., the fully-furnished serviced apartments complex is set to offer a total of 264 studios and 72 one-bedroom apartments. The entire structure will include four floors of lavishly designed residential units and a total of 654 parking spaces. Eight restaurants, which will offer cuisines of various origins to tenants as well as guests, will also be operating within the high profile residential complex. Designed by the internationally-reputed architectural firm, Eng. Adnan Saffarini Office, Sweet Homes will shortly be launching the sales of these freehold serviced apartments that will provide lavish comforts and state-of-the-art facilities to investors looking for an ideal community development in Ajman.

With aims of providing investors with a wide array of residential units to invest in, Sweet Homes had recently launched five mixed-use luxury towers, including ’Heliconia’, which will boast of a total of 352 studio, one- and two-bedroom flats and 30 prime retail spaces on the ground floor; in addition to ’Iris’, which offers 188 residential flats and 15 commercial spaces; and ’Jatropha’, which offers 184 residential and 14 commercial units. The other two mixed-use towers are ‘Kentia’, which offers 224 residential flats and 28 business spaces; and ’Ludisia’, which offers 148 apartment and 14 retail units. In addition, the developer has also unveiled two office towers - ’Freesia’, which has 152 offices and 13 showrooms, and ’Gardenia’ with 212 offices and 16 showrooms, which offer an ideal location for commercial and retail spaces due to the projects’ prime location and accessibility via Emirates Road.
 
‘Ajman Uptown’ is set to offer a total of 1,504 G+2 villas and townhouses and 7 G+4 buildings spread over 4 million square feet of land with 1.5 km long shopping walkway boulevard that is directly accessible from the Emirates Road and adjacent to Emirates City. Taking inspiration from classic French architecture, the project offers 8 different types of two, three and four-bedroom townhouses and exclusively designed five-bedroom VIP villas, all carrying the overall theme ‘L’ Art De Vivre’ or ‘Redefining the Art of Living’. Bringing more value to its offerings, the developer also offers a unique flexible four-year self-financed payment scheme, which allows investors to pay up to 50 per cent of the value until the project’s completion, 25 per cent upon delivery and the remaining 25 per cent after the handover.
