More than 60 per cent of housing and commercial units have been connected to the sewerage network in the emirate, with expansion plans announced in the next two years.

The Ajman Sewerage Private Company Limited said it will increase network connection points and enhance the services in collaboration with the Al Marfaa Contracting Company to cover more real estate units.

Around 300 additional connection points will be made available across Al Nuaimia area in addition to other urban areas in the emirate, adding significantly to the housing and commercial units already using the sewerage network.

As part of the ’Go-Green Ajman’ initiative, the company will also use treated sewage water for landscape irrigational purposes.
