Ajman City Centre observed the World Breast Cancer Day on October 15th, by tying up with the GMC hospital in Ajman to increase awareness about women’s health.

Ajman City Centre hosted a dedicated stand at the mall to educate mall visitors about the importance of self examination and distributed brochures with pink satin ribbon pins.

A team of health workers from GMC hospital explained to women shoppers about the impact of breast cancer and also encouraged them to register for free breast scan tests. 20 women shoppers were offered free mammogram tests throughout the day.

Jassim Al Khaja, General Manager, Ajman City Centre, said, “Breast cancer poses a significant threat to the lives of women across the world and our aim through this tie up with GMC hospital was to reach out to as many women as possible.
