His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Executive Council today inaugurated Emirates Post’s latest post office in New Industrial Area of Ajman, on Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Road.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post and Mr. Abdullah Busomonoh, Director of 3rd Postal Zone and senior officials from Emirates Post Holding Group.

His Highness toured the post office and was briefed on operations and services, both postal and non postal. HH expressed his appreciation of the design of the office and the services provided by them, and urged the officials to deliver quality services to the population of the area and all customers.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Ashram said the opening of the new office was in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, to support the economic and investment policy of the Emirate of Ajman by providing services that ease the life and work of the business community.

The new post office has 6,800 P.O. Boxes. It is equipped to offer all postal and non-postal services of Emirates Post.

The 3rd Postal Zone, which covers Sharjah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah, has 26 post offices.

Mr. Al Ashram said the opening of the new branch was in response to the population growth and the all-round development witnessed by the emirate of Ajman.

The working hours of the new post office are from Saturday to Thursday 7.30 am to 3pm. From February, the post office will work double shifts and remain open from 7.30 am to 9 pm.
