Khalifa Fund For Enterprise Development Introduces Its Services To People In Ajman (26 June 2011)
The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development organised in Ajman a workshop to introduce to the citizens its goals, programs and the mechanisms to take advantage of its services.
Addressing the workshop, Najla Midfa, Director at the Ajman branch of the Khalifa Fund, said that the Fund was established in order to instill and promote a culture of entrepreneurship and to support and develop small and medium enterprises in the United Arab Emirates.
Khalifa fund was launched on 3 June 2007 to help develop local enterprises. The fund aims to create a new generation of Emirati entrepreneurs by instilling and deepening the culture of investment amongst young people.
The Fund recently opened its branch in Ajman after the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the orders of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces, to expand the Fund’s services to cover all the emirates in the UAE.
