Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, recently hosted a lunch gathering for teachers of Manzil Destination Inclusion, a non-profit organization that provides education and training to individuals with special needs.

All 25 teachers gather at the hotel’s Orchid Restaurant and enjoyed the sumptuous meal prepared by Ramada Ajman’s culinary staff. The get together party was sponsored by the property as the school academic year ends. Manzil operates under the aegis of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS).

Iftikhar Hamdani, Executive Assistant Manager, Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, said: “We are pleased to host a gathering for the teachers of Manzil who are working very hard to assist our friends with special needs. Assisting people with special needs is no easy task and we are proud of these teachers and commend them for their patience and hard work. I hope that by hosting this gathering we were able to show them that we appreciate their effort.”

Dr. Ayesha Saeed Husaini, Director, Manzil Destination Inclusion, said: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of Ramada Ajman for their generosity and warm hospitality. Most of the companies are willing to host or participate in any event for the children but rarely for the teachers. This is the first time that a hotel sponsored something for our teachers so we are extremely happy and thankful.”

During the gathering, a new project called Lose to Gain, a collective fundraiser open to all who want to lose weight, was introduced. A 12-week activity will be highlighted by calorie burning dance, aerobics gym, boot camp, yoga, martial arts and diet. Dr. Ayesha encouraged participation to the fundraiser by donating money with every body weight a participant lose. The project is aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyle and at the same time assisting children with special needs.
