Shamiana, the flagship quick service restaurant brand of Dubai-based food services company, Hotbrands International (HBI), has won the Best Food & Beverage Outlet award at the annual awards for retailers bestowed by Ajman City Centre.

The retailer awards were given away recently at a ceremony held by Ajman City Centre during their Annual General Meeting. The Best Food & Beverage Outlet 2012 award was received on behalf of Hotbrands International, Marek Maitland-Walker, Head of Marketing at HBI and Prabhakar Singh Territory Manager, Northern Emirates, GCC and India.

Shamiana, which serves authentic Indian cuisine specialising in Tandoori items, is one of three HBI quick service restaurants at Ajman City Centre, the other two being Santino’s (Italian cuisine ) and Sala Thai (Thai cuisine). There are 13 Shamiana outlets in the UAE, that are located in food courts at all major shopping malls.
