Ramada Ajman Opens Additional 60 Rooms (23 May 2012)
Result of the hotel’s steady growth occupancy in 2011
Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, a premier destination for business and leisure travellers, announces the opening of 60 additional rooms making the total inventory to 400 rooms, the largest not only in Ajman but in the northern emirates.
The ribbon cutting ceremony to officially unveil the new rooms was spearheaded by Abdul Aziz Jasmi, Group GM of R Holdings and attended by hotel staff and guests. The addition of the new rooms is a result of the steady growth in the hotel’s occupancy with 94 percent occupancy year to date in 2011 and selling more than 100,000 room nights last year.
In his opening speech, Jasmi said: “Ramada Ajman is making history with great occupancy and excellent services and we congratulate Iftikhar Hamdani and his team for the contribution of making this project well on time.” He praised the role of contractors, consultants, and the hotel’s engineering and housekeeping teams for completing the project earlier than the target date.
Iftikhar Hamdani, General Manager, Ramada Ajman said: “This is the happiest moment for Ramada Ajman team as we had completed the project within the time frame set by the owners. The new rooms are well equipped and will cater to the demands of both our business and leisure guests.”
He also announced that Tower 2 is also currently doping upgradation and by September 1, the property will have a new look for its 400 rooms to offer to all type of travellers.
