H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, said that happiness has become part of one’s lifestyle across the society as the UAE leadership is launching a number of initiatives and policies that aim to make Emiratis the happiest people in the world. He added that all segments of the society should be happy, which would be achieved through a strategic plan that seeks to provide happiness to others.
The Ajman Ruler also praised the role played by the UAE’s wise leadership, led by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Supreme Council Members, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates, in helping the Emiratis meet their housing, educational and health requirements.
While meeting with Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness, and the accompanying delegation taking part in the first Ajman Government Forum, H.H. Sheikh Humaid stressed the importance of defining and spreading the concept of happiness among all segments of the society, including the youth, students and employees, to make happiness and positivity a part of lifestyle that will help achieve social solidarity and support the gesture of giving.
The Ajman Ruler was also briefed about the Ministry’s plans and programmes to be implemented in the near future. He then added that happiness is the spread of security, safety and stability, noting that citizens can easily communicate with the leadership who is very keen to meet their needs.
H.H. Sheikh Humaid also thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, for his continuous efforts to support charitable work and the ERC’s role and contributions to implement the initiatives launched by the UAE.
Al Roumi and other participants expressed their happiness to meet the Ajman Ruler and lauded the efforts of the Ajman Government to support and spread the concept of happiness.
The Minister presented a souvenir and a plaque to the Ajman Ruler in recognition of his role in achieving the objectives of happiness.
